ROTOR: A Series of Collaborations Between Huddersfield University and Huddersfield Art Gallery

The current ROTOR exhibition is called 'Thought Positions in Sculpture' and features ten artists and their works inspired by sculpture from other artists and archives. 

The exhibition at Huddersfield Art Gallery runs from 16th October 2015  to  9th January 2016.

It includes work by local textile artist and Society member Nicola Redmore, who took inspiration from the British sculptor Kenneth Armitage. 

Standing Group

The images here show the maquette for his 1951 piece ‘Standing Group’ and Nicola’s leno woven ‘Mesh’, created for the ROTOR exhibition.
