Juliet Bernard of Bluebear PR demonstrates how to use public relations and social media to promote textile companies.
Juliet studied Textile Economics and Management Sciences at UMIST in the 1980s before joining Courtaulds where she worked at Courtelle, Courtaulds Knitting and ultimately ran the corporate identity programme at the tender age of 26.
Nearly 20 years ago she set up Bluebear PR working for clients in and around the design industry including Rowan Yarns. In 2009 she was asked by Future Publishing to help launch a new knitting title called The Knitter where she remained as editor for more than 5 years.
Juliet specialises in helping brands in the craft sector to communicate with their consumers through traditional and social media.
